Love the music - Absolutely must get the accordion lady back from Friday night. The atmosphere was so cosy and warm - not just from the roaring open fireplace but the friendly staff. Love the traditional beers on tap, the traditional staff outfits and to top it off the food was so fresh and comforting. Some slow service points but they are new and definitely deserve the community support. Highly recommend.

Came for dinner with friends and family and had an amazing experience. Food was of high quality and high volume. Rarely get bang for your buck these days so was a great surprise. Service was impeccable. The two waitresses were very knowledgeable and always made sure we were being taken care of. Bartender was also very kind and efficient. Food and drinks came out very fast. The environment is very well done; the German theme, fireplace and plenty of space. Highly recommend. Only suggestion I could make is to possibly play some music by German artists!

Visited Das Bierhaus last weekend. My partner is German background so well experienced with German cuisine. I found the general atmosphere cosy, the venue has been quite well renovated. Wait staff dressed the part in Dirndls and Lederhosen , were quite attentive & pleasant. We both enjoyed the pretzel entree, but found the beef goulash a little lacking in tenderness but otherwise hearty & tasty. We finished off with apple strudel which I liked but my partner thought could have been sweeter. Overall for $60 each including drinks was reasonable. I would return to this rsdtaurant.

Great dining experience overall! Service was very friendly, atmosphere was calm and inviting, food was amazing- chefs definitely know what they’re doing. We tried the bretzel, roast beef, pork belly then finished with the black forest cremuex. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will be recommending this place to all my friends and will definitely be back!!

Great atmosphere, mouth-watering authentic German food and an all German selection of beers on tap and schnapps combined with amazing staff and service made for an amazing afternoon (we arrived at Midday and didn't leave until 8.30pm!). Great choice for a hearty meal (excellent pricing and serving sizes) and they have a function room out back. It rivals our favourite German restaurants in Melbourne, and is as good as some of the restaurants we have visited in Bavaria and right on our doorstep! Ash and the Team are doing it right and we can't wait to go back again soon! 🍖🍻 Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit!!

Delicious meals, excellent selection of beers, particularly the flavoured beer and dark malts, friendly staff and a great venue. The space is warm and cozy with two fire places going on a cold night. We visited once as a couple on a very busy Friday with live music and pumping atmosphere and a second time with our team of staff on a Sunday evening. The long tables are perfect for big groups and the platter of sausages for $45 is huge - three of us couldn't finish it! The meals are very substantial - fair warning! Love this for Geelong! Vegetarian options: There's a decent vegetarian menu here - with gnocchi - and you can get a delicious grilled salmon.
